Guidelines
Accounts are intended for personal and commercial use. Our Members can publish and sell the photographs they have taken to each other here.
The following Community Guidelines should help you to understand what it means to be Member. As a User of the website, you are obligated to abide by these Guidelines.
What you have to do
Be friendly and respectful.
Our Community consists of many different people, who may possibly have different opinions, convictions or attitudes and who also have a right to these. Always be friendly and respectful when dealing with other Users.
Only upload content that really originated from you.
Respect the copyright(s) of others. You should never steal any photographs or videos that others released, and pass them on as your own content. (There are Favorites for this purpose.)
Discuss your contents.
We are a global community, which consists of a wide range of Users. What you might consider proper may not be acceptable for others. Every User is therefore responsible for categorizing the content of his pictures. Please take this into account when you sort your pictures into our categories.
Photo content must not contradict the Guidelines. Report any breaches against the Guidelines immediately and they will be removed immediately.
Do you enjoy our photo pages?
We want to inspire you to look at the world from different points of view, to bring yourself to be creative and to expand your horizons!
What is not permitted?
It’s like this! In most cases, we will give the User a second chance. You will then be given a warning if you exceed the following limits. Continuous breaches can result in termination of your account without further warning.
Do not upload any content that did not originate from you.
This includes photographs, videos and/or other content belonging to other creators, which you have collected on the Internet. Accounts that consist mainly of such content can be terminated at any time.
Do not forget other Users
Be especially attentive when you filter your content.
Do not upload any content that is illegal, violates third party rights or is otherwise inadmissible.
If we become aware of such content, we reserve the right to delete your account and to initiate appropriate actions. The Community also reserves the right to file charges with the law enforcement agency responsible for this.
Do not irritate other members by nagging, making aggressive statements or similar
We value having a positive atmosphere very highly. Therefore, it is forbidden to bother other members, to verbally harass them, ridicule them or intimidate them. In the event that we receive a valid complaint about your behavior, you will be given a warning, or your account will be de-activated.
Do not misbehave!
You know precisely, what we mean. So, refrain from doing it.
Do not misuse your account by setting up web graphics such as logos or banners.
Your account will deleted immediately, if you use graphic elements from webpage designs, symbols, smileys, buddy icons, virtual figures, modules and nicknames or other non-photographic elements from external websites in it.
You should also take the following points into account:
Other persons (your content, your behavior)
It is possible that you will see things, which you consider bothersome, improper, insulting or inappropriate. In such a case, you can just continue browsing or inform the Service Team of the inappropriate content and/or the behavior of a User. To do this, click on the link “Report offensive content”, which you can find at the bottom of every page.
Copyright Infringements
If you encounter your own photos or videos in another member’s photo stream, remain calm. Probably, it is only a misunderstanding, with no harm intended. You should contact the person concerned and politely request he/she remove your photos. If that is not successful, you can report the copyright violation to the Service Copyright Team, which will then deal with it further.
You may possibly think abut discussing this occurrence in your photo stream or in one of our public forums. This is not a suitable solution for a possible copyright problem. We do not feel that talking about another individual person in this way is a good idea.
Summary
We have put together these Guidelines, so that all the Users of the Community can enjoy the use of the Community in a trouble-free manner. Thus, it is important that you categorize your content correctly. So, if you are not in agreement with our Community Guidelines, our Web presence may not be the right one for you.
If you have questions or wish to make suggestions, feel free to contact us with these at any time. Simply write to us with your concern via Email Help.
